About The Baby Skan Studio

The Baby Skan Studio was founded in 2007. We are very enthusiastic about ultrasound imaging and are pround to be the first and only provider of 4D baby scans in Cornwall, and the only dedicated private studio in the Southwest. Located in Truro it is central to all areas of the Southwest making it an ideal location for all areas.

Our studio is equipped with a GE Voluson 730 Expert System and linked to a LCD High resolution TV for a quality image for the customer to view during the scan.

Our studio offers relaxed scanning enviroments with highly qualified ultrasound professionals in place. Our scans use a practice called AS Long AS Reasonably Acceptable (ALARA) Principle; this briefly means holding the probe on the client only for the time necessary to create the image required. Occasionally you maybe asked to take a short gentle walk; this encourages your baby to change its position.
